The National Family Benefit Scheme (NFBS), also known as Rashtriya Parivarik Labh Yojana, was launched by the Uttar Pradesh government in January 2016. This scheme provides financial assistance to families who have lost their primary earners. To claim compensation, families must register under the scheme, which can only be done online; there is no offline application process.
