President Droupadi Murmu addressed the 18th Lok Sabha today, June 27, 2024, and gave great news to the elderly of the country. President Droupadi Murmu announced that under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, elderly people who are over 70 years old will now also get the benefit of free treatment. In Parliament, the President stated that in the new government, all elderly people over 70 years of age will be given benefits under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. With this decision by the BJP government, all elderly citizens over 70 years of age will be able to get their treatment done for free without any financial constraints. During the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had issued its manifesto in which PM Modi had stated that the biggest concern of the elderly is how to get treated for illnesses.
